Codifying our culture

At Dixons, culture is everything. 

We know that culture is one of the most important things employees value in a workplace; that's why we place huge emphasis on cultivating a culture that is inclusive and fair. Nationally, when educationalists talk about culture, they talk about Dixons.

We are not perfect but we have had many colleagues across the country take an interest in our work, especially around crafting culture; so we decided to codify our culture and provide bitesize video content through our new platform, Dixons OpenSource.

You can sign up for free to get access to watchable, listenable bites which provide quick, accessible, agile commentary that can be strung together into coherent sequences but also have efficacy alone.

The platform is aimed at anyone who interested in education and organisational culture. We share everything we can as frequently as we can through a range of activities and initiatives.

In 2022, we released two further offerings on our platform: Dixons Insight and Dixons Onsite. Dixons Insight supports organisations with implementing culture through additional access to virtual live events, executive Q&As and leadership resources. Dixons Onsite takes you beyond the platform and adds a bespoke and in-depth offer which includes face-to-face coaching tailored to your organisation.
